Honor View 10 Review, Features and Complete Specifications

Huawei is a savior to those who want a feature-packed phone but at a cost that won’t make you look for easy EMI plans. Huawei’s Honor View 10 may not be as flamboyant as its low-end models, but it sure does steal the show when it comes to specs and designs of that of high-end phones.

The Honor View 10 is an ideal example of why it’s not worth emptying out your savings on an expensive phone when you can get the same specs and design at less than half the price. The 5.99-inch display phone launched in January this year is currently priced at Rs. 29,849 in India and $710 in Australia.

Honor View 10 Design And Display

Honor View 10

The Honor View 10 isn’t as quirky as its sister phones like the Honor 9 Lite, but the neatly trimmed top and bottom bezels compensate for it. The View 10 is 9mm thinner than the Galaxy S8. Although making it a bit less slim would have been better as the dual-camera lens popping out in the rear do look a bit odd. The View 10 overall is a mixed bag of some new additions, some borrowed designs, and some old things like the all-metal body.

Honor offers the Honor 10 in four colors Aurora Blue, Dark Night, Beach Gold, and Charm Red. The 5.99-inch LTPS IPS LCD display has a resolution of 1080 x 2160 at 403 ppi. The phone also comes with face-unlock and a fingerprint scanner at the bottom of the screen, which seems to be faster than The Flash at recognizing fingerprints.

Honor View 10 Features And Performance

The Honor View 10 does the job when it comes to feature and performance. You get the power and performance of a premium phone at a very affordable cost. The View 10 is fitted with a Kirin 970 chipset and has 128 GB of storage that gives premium phones a tough competition.

The View 10 isn’t waterproof which comes as a disappointment but there is a headphone jack and the option of additional storage along with massive 128 GB internal storage. The phone comes with Huawei’s EMUI 8.0 user interface and runs on Android Oreo 8.0. Playing games won’t be a problem thanks to 6 GB of RAM.

Honor View 10 Battery And Camera

The Honor View 10 has a 3,750mAh battery which lasts more than a day on full charge.
Coming to the camera, the View 10 does prove its might. The 20-megapixel monochrome sensor does a great job and combined with the 16-megapixel you can get some pretty good shots. But since it lacks image stabilization you have to keep your hands steady while taking shots in low-light. But, still, don’t expect detailed photos because of the high megapixel.
